For more than a century, CHRISTUS Health Louisiana has given patients across Northern, Central and Southwestern Louisiana a place to find quality, specialized care. CHRISTUS hospitals are successful because our foundation is deeply rooted in the mission of extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through community-based services. CHRISTUS Health Louisiana is a region of CHRISTUS Health- an international Catholic, faith based not-for-profit health system compromised of almost 350 services and facilities. Jointly sponsored by the two religious congregations of the sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in Houston and San Antonio, the mission of CHRISTUS Health Louisiana is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. The three Louisiana regions (northern, central, and southwestern) are committed to providing advanced health care resources and access to services for more than 27 parishes throughout the state. Throughout the geographical regions, the CHRISTUS Health Louisiana system provides support for 25 school-based health centers.
